Uzbek President Shavkat Mirziyoyev delivered a speech at the second "Central Asia — Russia" summit in Dushanbe. In his address, he emphasized the need for close coordination and cooperation amidst growing geopolitical tensions and highlighted the importance of leveraging the potential of the International Industrial Exhibition "INNOPROM. Central Asia" in Tashkent.
The head of the republic specifically noted the successful holding of the 5th "INNOPROM. Central Asia" Exhibition in April of this year, which brought together over 10,000 participants from 35 countries and resulted in deals totaling $ 5 billion.
Shavkat Mirziyoyev proposed granting this event the status of the main industrial and innovation platform within the "Central Asia — Russia" dialogue format, which underscores INNOPROM’s significant role in the development of regional cooperation.
President Mirziyoyev’s statement confirms that INNOPROM is a crucial factor in fostering economic and innovative partnership between Russia and Central Asian countries, thereby contributing to the strengthening of regional stability and prosperity.
