VOZDUHFest
From July 2 to July 30, the city festival "ВОЗДУХФест" will be held in the Literary Quarter of Yekaterinburg on the summer stage, which conveys the atmosphere of July evenings in the open air. The program includes lively concerts on Tuesdays and Thursdays: performances by leading bands and soloists of the House of Music, as well as invited artists. The audience will enjoy music of different genres: from classical and jazz to modern instrumental projects.

The exhibition "Catherine the Great. The splendor of the throne and the might of the Urals"
A large—scale exhibition dedicated to the era of Catherine II, one of the most striking pages of Russian history. The project is presented in two locations and reveals different facets of the Empress' legacy: from the splendor of the imperial court to the industrial rise of the Urals.

In the first part of the exhibition "The Splendor of the Throne", presented at the Hermitage-Ural Center, visitors will get acquainted with the era of the "Golden Age" of the Russian Empire, the lifestyle and entertainment at the court, the family and entourage of the Empress.

The second part, "The Power of the Urals", is located in the Yekaterinburg Museum. It is dedicated to the role of Catherine II in the development of the Urals and the development of the region’s industry in the second half of the 18th century.

The concert "Music of Cinema"
The gentle sky, the open stage and the warm atmosphere of a July evening — in short, everything
that only summer gives in harmony with music and your favorite cinema!

The summer festival continues to introduce listeners to light, pleasant and effective
mood music. Favorite movie classics performed by the Domestic choir
are a whole galaxy of familiar images, favorite characters, and romantic
memories. The program includes hits, anthems and soundtrack hits of Soviet, Russian
and foreign cinema: "Conversation with Happiness" from the film "Ivan Vasilyevich changes
profession", "Old Maple" from the movie "Girls", "Don't hang your nose!" from the movie "Midshipmen,
go!", "Belle" from the movie "Notre Dame de Paris", "Hello, Dolly" from the musical "Hello, Dolly",
"Pretty Woman" from the movie "Pretty Woman" and many others.

Small dance sequences performed by the choir artists will decorate the music and add
emotional impressions!

Retro trains of the Urals
If you want to go on a steam-powered trip that will take you into the atmosphere of the early 20th century, then choose a route for a bright weekend!

The Ural Express service from Yekaterinburg to Verkhnyaya Pyshma is perfect for a day trip. On the way, you will find:
- historical-style carriages;
- restaurant car with traditional Ural cuisine;
- purchase of souvenirs.
The train makes a stop at the stylized Shuwakish station with a retro terminal, photo zones and a bonfire bowl on the platform. The final destination is Verkhnyaya Pyshma, where you will visit one of the world's largest museum complexes of military and civil equipment with four
exhibition centers and a large-scale outdoor exhibition.
Departure is every Saturday and Sunday at 09:40 from Yekaterinburg-Passazhirsky railway station.

If you are looking for an unusual format for traveling, choose the Evening Yekaterinburg retro train (Yekaterinburg – Shuvakish – Yekaterinburg). This circular route passes through the iconic areas of the city in the mesmerizing evening lights. During the trip, you can taste the famous Ural shangi and cherry pies, and at Shuvakish station, look into the authentic office of the station chief, examine the antique clock and drink tea from Sysert porcelain.
Departure is every Friday and Saturday at 19:05 from Yekaterinburg-Passazhirsky railway station.

Festival of Modern Gastronomy of the Sverdlovsk region
From July 1-9, Yekaterinburg will host the festival of modern gastronomy of the Sverdlovsk Region, timed to coincide with the INNOPROM-2026 international industrial exhibition.

At this time, 9 establishments in Yekaterinburg will present gastrosets of popular and iconic dishes among the Urals. For example, the Troekurov restaurant, one of the oldest in the city, has created a special set based on famous symbols of the Urals — the "Pride of Ural Cuisine" set by chef Mikhail Kovalev, which includes "Wild" Ural dumplings, etc.

What you can try on the festival menu: reindeer fillet tartare with dried beetroot and coffee oil, a plate of game meat delicacies, pike patties with leek and creamy horseradish and other unusual dishes.

Among the desserts: frozen yogurt with crushed strawberries, taiga dessert with ryazhenka ice cream, cherry honey cake with cream of boiled condensed milk and stewed cherries.

In total, 9 restaurants of the city take part in the festival of modern gastronomy of Yekaterinburg within the framework of INNOPROM: Gavi, «Троекуров», «Паштет», «Стейк-Хаус», Forest, Pan Smetan, «Гурмадзе», «Хмели Сунели», «Si».

You will be able to try these sets at affordable prices at the INNOPROM 2025 international exhibition from July 1-9, 2026.

Excursion to the factory "Porcelain Sysert"
An excursion with a visit to the Porcelain Sysert enterprise is an immersion in the atmosphere of the city, which today is rightfully called one of the main creative centers. In Sysert, old factory buildings are gaining new life, and traditions are harmoniously intertwined with modern creative projects. You will visit the current production facility, where production traditions have been preserved and developed for more than 60 years - 80% of operations at the plant are performed manually. During the tour, you will see the workshops, learn the history of Sysert porcelain, compare old and modern furnaces, look inside the kiln and get acquainted with painting techniques. And also visit a special stress relief area where you can break dishes without consequences!

The exhibition "Not only letters"
The exhibition "Not only letters" at the Museum of the History of Yekaterinburg (House of Pitching) is a succinct story about the formation and development of the book industry in our city, including printing houses, libraries, bookstores and bookbinding workshops.

The viewer will get acquainted with entrepreneurs, booksellers and artisans who created new "clothes" for books, with legal printers and publishers, with underground printers, revolutionaries. Special attention is paid to details: library stamps, bookbinding workshop signs, and so on.

The central exhibit of the exhibition is the Elizabethan Bible from 1751. A separate space will be created for her, allowing her to get in touch with the antique tete-a-tete.

You will see: The Dam of the City Pond on the Iset River, the monument to the founders of Yekaterinburg Vasily Tatishchev and William de Gennin, the chapel of St. Catherine, the first stone building – the Mining Office, merchant mansions of the XIX century.
