The agreement was signed on behalf of India by Shri Adhip Mitra, Executive Director of EEPC India.
Elena Suvorova, INNOPROM International Projects Manager, highlighted the significance of this partnership, stating:
“India and Russia, as countries with large populations I, hold immense potential for accelerating the growth of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) through the synergy of business activities and the joint exploration of new markets. We anticipate that our Indian colleagues will find it advantageous to present their national exposition at INNOPROM in Ekaterinburg and participate in the events we are organizing across the globe.”
Ms. Suvorova also shared her perspective on the role of Indian SMEs and the opportunities for expanding their business footprint in Russia:
“Representatives of the Russian business community see considerable potential in collaboration with Indian SMEs. Analysts report that the number of technology-oriented SMEs in India surpassed 740,000 in 2023 out of a total of 60 million. The Russian business community is keen to expand cooperation with Indian counterparts, including the establishment of regional divisions and joint ventures.”
