Russia faces no limitations in choosing partner countries for industrial cooperation and sees potential in developing multilateral projects involving three or more states, First Deputy Prime Minister Denis Manturov said during his address at the Innoprom-2025 strategic session.
"We are interested in industrial cooperation with our partners from friendly countries. Autonomy shouldn't reach absurd limits, especially regarding product categories that need to be competitive domestically while maintaining export potential," he said.
Russia's potential industrial cooperation partners include countries of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU), the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS), BRICS, Latin America, the Middle East, Southeast Asia and Africa, he said.
Illustrating the Global South's readiness to cooperate with Russia, Manturov said that Indonesia will be Innoprom's partner country in 2026. This year's partner is Saudi Arabia.
"We face no restrictions in the list of countries we're prepared to build cooperative relations with," he said.
"I invite cooperation in multilateral formats, at minimum trilateral, with EAEU and BRICS countries to establish robust cooperative projects. We see prospects in this approach for greater reliability: not mere interdependence, but what I consider a secure cooperative value chain that will yield economic benefits not only in production but also in trade and economic relations," Manturov said.
