"PC Transport Systems" to Showcase First Five-Section Tram at INNOPROM

In June 2025, "PC Transport Systems" will complete the assembly of its first five-section tram at the Nevsky Plant in Saint Petersburg. The 71-952 model will be presented at the International Industrial Exhibition INNOPROM, announced the company’s CEO, Alexander Dubrovkin.

"The tram will be fully assembled by June this year. After the INNOPROM showcase, we will bring it back to Saint Petersburg for testing, with the goal of launching the tram model into serial production and subsequently manufacturing it according to customer demand," commented Alexander Dubrovkin, adding that the tests will be conducted at the Saint Petersburg "Gorelectrotrans" (GET) facility.

Serial production is planned to begin in 2026 following the testing at the Saint Petersburg "Gorelectrotrans" base. The 37.5-meter-long tram can accommodate up to 400 passengers, is equipped with four bogies, and features an active driver assistance system based on Russian developments. Production localization stands at 95%.
