Last week, the international industrial exhibition INNOPROM took place in Yekaterinburg.

At the booth of the Vologda region, Mallenom Systems demonstrated the VISCONT.Granules system for the assessment of granulometric composition of rock mass on a conveyor belt. Developed with the use of convolutional neural networks, the system identifies the linear dimensions of individual granules, classifies the granules into user-defined size categories, and detects oversized and atypical granules. The results of the system operation correlate to the results of the sieve analysis. The intelligent system attracted the attention of not only exhibition visitors, but also the media.

Over four days, Mallenom Systems General Director Anna Zhivitsya and Commercial Director Anna Orgolainen held a number of meetings with partners and customers, attended events and discussions related to IT, industrial innovations and industry prospects.

The exhibition featured expositions of more than 900 companies from various industries, including mechanical engineering, metallurgy, IT, and electrical equipment manufacturing. The event was attended by representatives of 60 foreign countries, and the partner country this year was the United Arab Emirates.
