Component Manufacturers Forum featured over 300 B2B meetings where representatives of SMEs presented their products to procurement directors of companies such as Metalloinvest, GC 1520, Transportation Systems, and others. SMEs vastly benefit from this unique opportunity to establish promising contacts and find major partners.
This year's INNOPROM partner country was the United Arab Emirates. The official delegation including over 200 visitors, was headed by Sultan bin Ahmed Al Jaber, UAE Minister of Industry and Advanced Technology. As part of INNOPROM, there was held a series of business meetings "Russia—UAE: B2B work group meetings". These are the meetings with representatives of the UAE's largest industrial companies to establish business ties, discuss possible cooperation, and exchange experience. The INNOPROM venue also held a business forum titled "Industrial Dialogue: Russia—United Arab Emirates". The participants discussed which industries and innovative technologies will be setting trends in the development of bilateral partnership.
As noted by Anton Alikhanov, Minister of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation, "One of the most important tasks for the state today is to ensure technological sovereignty. It is clear that high-tech products today are not produced by a single company, and the economic feasibility of their production in Russia depends, among other things, on well-established intersectoral and international cooperation. INNOPROM International Industrial Trade Fair has been held in Ekaterinburg since 2010. Every single year it contributes to the Russian industry, serving an effective platform for communication between representatives of state institutions and business not only in Russia, but also in foreign countries. Participants at industry sessions share proposals and their experience, exchange contacts, and even agree on cooperation or product deliveries."
Anton Atrashkin, INNOPROM Program Director makes it a point that, "The successful establishment of business relations is facilitated by the applied nature of INNOPROM. Our participants exhibit exactly the products that they are ready to offer to the market today. These are all purely commercial developments, and their task is to find their customers and clients. The importance of the exhibition for international industrial and economic cooperation is growing: this year INNOPROM was visited by representatives of 60 countries."
