Strategic Initiative Agency (SIA)'s International Relations Office held a business lunch titled 'The Economy of Opportunity: Projects and Initiatives for International Cooperation'. The event was held as part of the INNOPROM 2024 Trade Fair on July 10. During the meeting, participants discussed projects in the field of industrial cooperation, as well as the best-practices ideas and ways to strengthen technological, humanitarian, scientific, and professional ties between countries.

“Let me remind you of how a meeting of the SIA Supervisory Board held on May 22 featured the President instructing the Agency to assist in promoting our domestic brands and projects abroad, as well as in promoting the best Russian practices in various areas. The event organized by SIA within the framework of the INNOPROM International Industrial Trade Fair is part of this work. We are especially pleased that Russian solutions find great interest among our foreign partners,” stated Mikhail Makarov, Director of the SIA International Relations Office.

During the meeting, 11 companies participating in the Go Global service presented their projects to foreign delegations. As one of the examples, Evgeny Alkhanov, CEO of Evalab LLC, spoke on the development that allows detecting intestinal cancer with the help of artificial intelligence. According to Alkhanov, this innovative solution helps to increase the detection rate of neoplasms from 74% to 94% on average and reduce the cost of surgery and rehabilitation up to 2.5 billion rubles. Ekaterina Sidorina, head of the department of development of complex educational projects of 'Robotics School St. Pete' LLC, presented a comprehensive solution for teaching robotics, including functional constructors, ready-made educational and methodological complexes, and a system of professional development of teaching staff. The project appears to be of great interest to Yu Yao, President of Chongqing Chamber of Commerce and Industry of International Cooperation of Private Economy:
“We are constantly in search of similar solutions as the sphere of education remains a priority for us. The project that Ekaterina presented is going to be in demand in China: it is relevant for us, we are ready to promote it and become partners”, - added Yu Yao.

In addition, Russian trade representatives had a chance to speak at the business lunch as well. For example, Artem Tsinamdzgvrishvili, Russia's Trade Representative to the Republic of the Philippines, addressed companies and foreign participants and spoke about the capabilities of trade missions, their functions and tools that help exporters to conduct effective international work.
