15th International Industrial Exhibition INNOPROM: Highlights and Key Outcomes

The 15th International Industrial Exhibition INNOPROM has concluded its work in Ekaterinburg. The event was organized by the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation and the Government of the Sverdlovsk Region. The event operator was Formika Event LLC.

The exhibition area, combined with the 9th Russia-China EXPO, exceeded 50,000 sq. meters. Over 40% of participants across both events were international companies. Over four days, the exhibition welcomed more than 52,000 visitors from 66 countries. All regions of Russia were represented: 89 federal subjects participated with official and business delegations.

Saudi Arabia was the Partner Country of the exhibition and presented national exposition (1,512 sq. meter). The head of delegation was Bandar bin Ibrahim bin Abdullah al-Khorayef, the Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources of Saudi Arabia, who visited the exhibition and took part in the main strategic session of INNOPROM. The Saudi delegation included more than 200 representatives. The national stand hosted 43 co-exhibitors showcasing the Kingdom’s industrial, trade, and investment potential.

National booths were also presented by Belarus, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, and Kyrgyzstan, alongside exhibitors from China and India.

The exhibition occupied three pavilions, an outdoor area, and the balcony of one of the pavilion's second floors, offering visitors a look at the latest achievements of Russian industry — many resulting from years of work to achieve technological sovereignty and proactive import substitution. The collective booth of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation featured over 60 innovative developments. 33 Russian regions presented their own collective displays, with the largest booths from Sverdlovsk and Chelyabinsk Regions, the Republic of Bashkortostan, and Moscow.

With the support of the Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade, the special project “Dialogue with the Trade Representative” was once again held within INNOPROM. This platform facilitates meetings in the format of a “contact exchange” between domestic companies and Russian trade representatives abroad, along with thematic business events focused on foreign economic cooperation.

The Russia National Center presented the "Russia" department store in a mobile format for the first time. It featured 90 producers from 46 regions showcasing products entirely made in Russia, grouped into four categories: "Delicacies," "Accessories," "Folk Crafts and Handicrafts," and "Cosmetics."

At the main strategic session of INNOPROM titled "Technological Leadership: Industrial Breakthrough," Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin welcomed participants, outlining key priorities: technological sovereignty and support for all industrial participants — from large enterprises to SMEs. National priorities include import substitution, technological and resource sovereignty, ensuring the industry is supplied with its own components, materials, production tools, deep localization, and mass production.

During the session, the winner of the National Industrial Award of the Russian Federation "Industry" was announced. The award went to JSC Kursk Electrical Apparatus Plant, whose chairman received the prize from First Deputy Prime Minister Denis Manturov.

During his visit, Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin observed several Russian technological achievements, including the Il-114-300 aircraft.

Among the top technological innovations presented at INNOPROM 2025 were the Tango aircraft, the five-section "Voevoda" tram, the PD-8 aircraft engine, RusRobot industrial robotic arms, and more.

INNOPROM hosted over 100 business events covering innovations, digital manufacturing, IT, cybersecurity, new mobility, smart city technologies, educational solutions, and other relevant industrial topics.

The international agenda was a major focus of the exhibition's business program. Thirteen sessions on international cooperation were held, including the "Industrial Dialogue: Russia – Saudi Arabia" Business Forum, “Russia – India: Toward $100 Billion in Trade,” “Russia and China: Smart Manufacturing – Balancing Supply and Demand,” and meetings with partners from Africa, the SCO, EAEU, and others.

New formats also were presented at INNOPROM. One such initiative was the "Startup Tour x INNOPROM" roadshow, which featured pitch sessions, mentorship, and panel events in collaboration with the Skolkovo Foundation.

Additionally, the Partner Country for INNOPROM 2026 was announced — Indonesia will be granted this status. The announcement was made by First Deputy Prime Minister Denis Manturov, highlighting the strong and growing trade and industrial ties between Russia and Indonesia.

The 16th INNOPROM will take place from July 6–9, 2026, in Yekaterinburg. Besides, INNOPROM will be held in Minsk from September 29 to October 1, 2025, and in Riyadh in February 2026.
