Sergey Lavrov: Russia Counts on Brunei’s Participation in INNOPROM

Foreign Minister of the Russian Federation Sergey Lavrov has invited partners from Brunei to participate in Russia’s major business and industrial forums, including the INNOPROM International Industrial Exhibition.

The Russian Foreign Minister made this statement following negotiations with the Second Minister of Foreign Affairs of Brunei Darussalam, Erywan Yusof.

According to Sergey Lavrov, Russia is interested in expanding the range of participants at key economic platforms by involving Southeast Asian nations.

The Foreign Minister also noted that a reciprocal interest from Brunei in Russian industrial and investment dialogue formats was recorded during the talks. Strengthening the dialogue with Brunei is part of INNOPROM’s systematic efforts to develop ties with ASEAN countries and expand the geographical scope of industrial partnerships.
