Prospects for Industrial Partnership Between Russia and Indonesia

On April 28, the Russian-Indonesian Business and Investment Forum, organized by the Ministry of Industry of Indonesia, took place in St. Petersburg. The event was held as part of the preparations for Indonesia's participation as the partner country of the International Industrial Trade Fair INNOPROM 2026 and was aimed at developing sustainable business cooperation between the two countries.

The official opening of the forum was attended by Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation Alexey Gruzdev and Deputy Minister of Industry of Indonesia Faisol Riza. In their speeches, they emphasized the importance of strengthening industrial cooperation and expanding investment ties.

The key event of the business program was a panel discussion dedicated to the prospects of industrial cooperation and investment opportunities in St. Petersburg. The session was moderated by INNOPROM's Program Director, Anton Atrashkin.

As part of the forum, business presentations were held in sectors such as shipbuilding, the chemical industry and fertilizer production, metallurgy and mining, as well as the development of industrial parks. Participants included PT PAL Indonesia, Rosatom State Corporation, PT Pupuk Indonesia, and the Aluminum Association.

Business meetings with Indonesian partners were also held during the event, aimed at establishing direct contacts and exploring promising projects.

INNOPROM continues to shape the international business agenda, facilitating the transition of partnership initiatives into practical outcomes: concrete projects and long-term cooperative ties.
