Roman Golovchenko, Prime Minister of the Republic of Belarus, endorsed the proposal to host industry-oriented meetings of the CIS (ex-USSR) country councils at the INNOPROM event.

The concept and roadmap for promoting industrial collaboration in the CIS countries were introduced in June 2023. Roman Golovchenko spoke at the meeting of the CIS prime ministers in Ashgabat and proposed to held more meetings of the industry-oriented CIS councils.
"We support the idea of holding a meeting of the Council at the INNOPROM Industrial Trade Fair in Ekaterinburg this July, and then continuing at subsequent international events," he said.
