The company will show the exhibition visitors its K5 flagship product of the new generation - KAMAZ-54901 tractor truck. This model was introduced to the market in 2020 and in a very short time gained confidence with its customers having become particularly in demand at the logistics service market. The truck performance and application characteristics explain high demand for this tractor truck among the shipping forwarders. The truck has a new 13l and 482 h.p. KAMAZ-910.52-460 engine (Euro-5) of 2403Nm torque. The use of advanced high-tech design solutions made it possible to increase the service interval up to 120 thousand km, and the engine life to 1.5 million km, while reducing fuel consumption by 10% compared to previous generation vehicles. The tractor truck is fitted with a new low noise and highly efficient 12-speed automated transmission which reduces fuel consumption. Also worth noting is the updated and spacious cabin with a flat floor and two berths providing higher level of comfort for the driver’s work and rest which takes off fatigue and, as a result, increases the safety of cargo delivery. Apart from it, KAMAZ will present two models of a medium-duty truck - Compass 6 and Compass 9. A telescopic hydraulic lift mounted on Compass 6 chassis is used when performing work at an altitude, for instance, when replacing street lighting, mounting advertising banners, performing facade construction work, etc. It also serves to lift people with tools to an altitude. The boom is made of high-strength structural steel providing the necessary strength, structural rigidity and light weight. Technical capabilities of the lifting mechanism mounted on Compass 6 chassis make it possible to lift the basket to 18 meters height. Reliable trucks on Compass chassis can definitely handle with the assigned tasks freely maneuvering in restrained urban conditions.
As for the insulated van on Compass 9 chassis, it is designed for transporting food and other goods that require maintaining and keeping to certain temperature conditions. Compass 9 insulated van enables to maintain constant temperature in the cargo compartment due to sealed-in sandwich panels. The vehicle is equipped with a refrigeration and heating unit for transporting frozen foods. The van can admit 10 Euro pallets; rear doors can open at 270° to ease loading and unloading procedures.
