It is noteworthy that Belarusian colleagues presented exclusively joint Russian-Belarusian industrial projects at the trade fair.
Discussing the main milestones of Russian-Belarusian relations, Denis Manturov noted the goal that the countries are moving towards together: formation of a unified industrial policy. Two basic agreements have already been signed for this purpose: "on recognition of technological operations" and "on a single industrial policy".
"We still have a lot to do, but the regulatory framework has already been formed and we have no restrictions on the areas where we can interact. Recently, a new area has been added - aviation. We have now put a 19-seat regional aircraft on the agenda. This will be a good start. In addition, we are developing cooperation on aircraft components," Denis Manturov outlined another vector of cooperation.
He also noted another important area of joint cooperation - electronic engineering.
"I am confident that by combining the competencies of a strong photonics school in Russia and those competencies that exist in Belarus at Planar, we will start producing a joint product within 2-3 years," Denis Manturov stressed.
A good example of the close partnership between Russia and Belarus is cooperation in the highly science-intensive field of space exploration.
A landmark milestone should be the first space flight of a representative of Belarus, Marina Vasilevskaya, scheduled for March 2024, as a member of the 21st expedition to the ISS.
Following the event, Denis Manturov and Petr Parkhomchik signed an agreement on cooperation in the field of machine tool industry development.
